Assalaamu 'Alaikum,
I live in Montreal near Madani Masjid where Imam follows Hanafi madhab. Two more masajid ie Majid Rawda(arab masjid) and ICQ (imam follows hanafi madhab) are also near my residence, not more than 1km.
For Ramadhan and Eid, Madani masjid and Rawada Masjid follow mac(Muslim association of canada) which follow fcna(Fiqh council of north ameria). ICQ follow regional moonsighting. If moon is not sighted in canda, then ICQ wait for any confirmed in the united states.
This year madani masjid and mac announced Ramadhan on Monday March 11th, 2024 following fcna while ICQ announced on Tuesday March 12th, 2024 following conf
In situation when Ramadhan and/or Eid falls on different dates, which one should I follow.

In this case, you should follow Sightings of the Crescent Committee of the Ahl Al-Haq, who announce the advents of Ramadhan and Eid, based on the testimonies of moon sightings according to Shariah Rules.
There is a hadith in Sahih Bukhari:
قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِم ﷺ: «صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ، وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ، فَإِنْ غُبِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَكْمِلُوا عِدَّةَ شَعْبَانَ ثَلَاثِينَ.»(صحیح بخاری،کتاب الصٓوم، : ۱۹۰۹)
There is a tradition in Sahih Muslim:
عن کریب أَنَّ أُمَّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ بَعَثَتْهُ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ بِالشَّامِ قَالَ: فَقَدِمْتُ الشَّامَ، فَقَضَيْتُ حَاجَتَهَا، وَاسْتَهَلَّ عَلَيَّ رَمَضَانُ، وَأَنَا بِالشَّامِ فَرَأَيْتُ الْهِلَالَ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ، ثُمَّ قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فِي آخِرِ الشَّهْرِ فَسَأَلَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبَّاس، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الْهِلَالَ
فَقَالَ: مَتَى رَأَيْتُمُ الْهِلَالَ؟ فَقُلْتُ: رَأَيْنَاهُ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ، فَقَالَ: أَنْتَ رَأَيْتَهُ؟ فَقُلْتُ: نَعَمْ وَرَآهُ النَّاسُ، وَصَامُوا وَصَامَ مُعَاوِيَةُ فَقَالَ: لَكِنَّا رَأَيْنَاهُ لَيْلَةَ السَّبْتِ، فَلَا نَزَالُ نَصُومُ حَتَّى نُكْمِلَ ثَلَاثِينَ، أَوْ نَرَاهُ، فَقُلْتُ: أَوَ لَا تَكْتَفِي بِرُؤْيَةِ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَصِيَامِهِ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا هَكَذَا أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ» وَشَكَّ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى فِي نَكْتَفِي أَوْ تَكْتَفِي
(صحیح مسلم ،کتاب الصیام۔ بَابُ بَيَانِ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ بَلَدٍ رُؤْيَتَهُمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِذَا رَأَوُا الْهِلَالَ بِبَلَدٍ لَا يَثْبُتُ حُكْمُهُ لِمَا بَعُدَ عَنْهُمْ:۱۰۸۶)
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him):
Kareeb says: Umm Fazl bint Harith sent me to Amir Muawiyah (RA) in Syria. Kareeb says: I went to Syria and while I completed my duties, Ramadhan came. So, we saw the crescent on Friday night, then I returned to Madinah at the end of Ramadhan and Ibn Abbas (RA) mentioned the moon to me and asked; when did you see the moon? I said: On Friday night. Ibn Abbas (RA) asked: Did you see it yourself? I said: People saw and fasted, and Ameer Muawiyah (RA) also fasted. Ibn Abbas (RA) said: We saw the moon on Saturday night, therefore, we will complete 30 days of fasts, of if the moon of Eid A-Fitr is witnessed.
Kareeb says, I said: Is it not enough for you that Ameer Muawiyah (RA) saw the moon and startd fasting the month of Ramadhan. Ibn Abbas (R) said, No. The Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) has ordered us in this way.
