Lawfulness and unlawfulness (hillat and hurmat) of slaughtered meat should not be determined through Apps.

The “halal” labels affixed through Apps by those companies only specify the ingredients of the packaged meat, but do not clarify and satisfy the below concerns: 

1. Is the meat sold through that company is halal or not?
2. Does the company have a verification certificate of its lawful status?

3. Or if they have one, is that credible enough?

Therefore the decision about lawfulness or unlawfulness (hillat and hurmat) of that meat simply based on the Apps cannot be established. 

However, if the religious scholars have officially confirmed its lawful “halal” status either through their research of the facility or by other means, that meat will then be considered “halal”.
