Asalaamalaikum
If a person was not following a particular madhab or was not aware of madhabs in the past, are his ibadat valid (Like Salah, Haj etc)?

الجواب وباللہ التوفیق
If a person's worship is in accordance with the Qur'an and Sunnah and does not spoil his worship due to some corrupted beliefs, then his worship will “In Shaa Allah” be accepted by Allah.
But going forward it is necessary for him to follow the rules of “Shari'ah” according to only one of the four Schools of Thought/ Jurisprudence “Madhahab”, otherwise he will fall prey to selfishness and desires and will destroy his faith and destiny.
