I would like to know the meaning of the name Wirda and if it can be used to name a girl.
This word is found in surah Maryam, Ayat 86.
”Wirda" - it should actually be “Wird” without “a” at the end. "
which means: Water jetty, a group of people coming for water, camel coming for water, the time between two drinking times, a time to drink water, part of the night, “adhkar” and supplications
Its meaning in Surah Maryam verse 86 of the Holy Qur'an: “Thirsty people", because people who go to water are thirsty. Therefore one of its interpretations is that the Almighty will bring people to Hell in a state of thirst
An alternate word is "Ward:
which means: Rose, saffron, Reddish pleasant color etc. Both these words are without “alif” at the end "وَرد" واو کے فتحہ کے ساتھ"
However, it is better to have the second word as a name than the first. And even better is to add the name of “Amat” to the name of Allah. For example, Amat Allah, Amat As-Salam etc
