Assalamualaikum, There are a few genuine online survey sites that pay users for answering the surveys like rating a product, answering personal questions, etc... If I refer people to those sites and they signup through me then I will get a small commission... Is this halal or not?
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
الجواب وباللہ التوفیق
- If your commission is fixed,
- and your commission is granted to you based only upon those who were signed by you,
- and there is no chain system in this,
- and there are no illegal matters in this system.
In complying with above conditions, it would be halal for you to take that commission.
وإذا أخذ السمسار أجر مثلہ، ہل یطیب لہ ذٰلک؟ قال الشیخ المعروف بخواہر زادہ: یطیب لہ ذٰلک، وقال بعضہم: لا یطیب للدلال والسمسار أجر مثلہ، ہٰذا إذا أمر السمسار بالبیع أو الدلال بالشراء، ولم یذکر لہ وقتًا، أما إذا ذکر لہ وقتًا بأن قال: استأجرتک الیوم بدرہم علی أن تبیع لي ہٰذا الثوب، أو تشتري لي کذا کان لہ المسمی، ویطیب لہ عند الکل۔ (الفتاویٰ التاتارخانیۃ ۱۵؍۱۳۵-۱۳۶)
