Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah
I live in New Jersey, USA. We perform asr salah 1 hour later than the time given in Islamic finder. For example, if the time for asr is at 2:20 pm in Islamic finder, we pray at 3:20. Can you please explain the reasoning behind this difference?

In general, the timings displayed in Islamic Finder for salatul-asr are not according to the Hanafi maslak, instaed according to the Shaf‘ai or other masalik. Since the time of salah does not start at that time according to the Hanafi maslak, therefore, salah is performed little later than the timing displayed there.

میں نیو جرزی امریکہ میں رہتا ہوں ، ہم عصر کی نماز اسلامک فائنڈر میں دیئے گئے وقت شروع ہونے کے ایک گھنٹے بعد نماز ادا کرتے ہیں۔مثا ل کے طور پر اسلامک فائنڈر میں عصر کا وقت۲:۲۰ ہوتا ہے تو ہم ۳:۲۰ پر نماز پڑھتے ہیں۔ کیا آپ ایک گھنٹہ دیر سے نماز کی وجہ بتا سکتے ہیں۔

چونکہ عام طور پر وہاں اسلامک فائنڈر میں عصر کی نماز کا وقت جو درج ہوتا ہے،وہ حنفی مسلک کے مطابق نہیں ہوتا بلکہ شافعی اور دیگر مسلک کے مطابق درج ہوتا ہے،اور احناف کے مسلک کے مطابق وقت شروع نہیں ہوتا اس لئے وہ وقت شروع ہونے کے بعد کچھ تاخیر سے عصر کی نماز ادا کرتے ہیں۔
