Assalaamualaikum,
My sister got a proposal for a boy who is working in a company related to the bank. Everything is well and fine in that proposal but the only problem is that he is working in a company which is related to the bank. He is an engineer there. What should we do?
الجواب وباللہ التوفیق
If the boy’s job in the bank is related to interest calculation and interest record keeping then his income is not permissible, and it’s not appropriate to give the girl in marriage to him. However, if the boy agrees that he will look for another permissible job and as soon as he finds another job, he will leave the bank’s job then you can marry your sister with him.

میری بہن کے لیے ایک لڑکے کا رشتہ آیا ہے جو ایک کمپنی میں کام کرتا ہے جو بینک سے منسلک ہے، اس رشتہ میں ہر چیز صحیح ہے مسئلہ صرف یہ ہے کہ وہ ایک بینک سے منسلک کمپنی میں کام کررہا ہے وہ ایک انجینیر ہے وہاں ۔ہمیں کیا کرنا چاہیے؟

اگر لڑکے کی بینک میں ملازمت سودی حساب وکتاب وغیرہ سے متعلق ہوتو اس کی آمدنی جائز نہیں ہے،اور لڑکی کو دینا بھی مناسب نہیں ہے۔ہاں اگر لڑکا اس بات پر راضی ہوجائے کہ وہ دوسری جائز ملازمت کی کوشش کرے گا اور دوسری ملازمت ملتے ہی اس بینک کی ملازمت کو ترک کردے گا تو آپ اپنی بہن کی شادی اس سے کرسکتے ہیں۔
