Assalamualaikum,
I have been married for three years. Our marriage has been an unpleasant time. My husband had abused me verbally, physically, and mentally several times. I have filed for the dissolution of marriage and child’s full custody. My husband is not asking for the custody. But he wants to take the girl to his home for a day or two when she reaches the age of 9 if the daughter wishes to go with him.
Is it O.K. Islamically for the girl to spend a day or two with her father (even though he has big temper problem for no reason) while the mother has full custody.

Mother has a right to nourish her child till her puberty, that is, nine year. After that father can take his girl.
If father wants to take his girl for a day or two while child is in mother’s custody then he can do that. And according to Islamic point of view, it is right that child may stay with her father for a day or two.
