Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah respected Mufti sahib
Last week we were in Bahrain with a (masturat) Jama‘at. We were staying near the house where masturat was staying. It was decided in mashwarah that for Shab-e-Jumuah, the men will go to the markaz which was about 4-5 kilometers from the house. A brother however said that when we are in masturat Jamat, men should not go far from the house where the masturat are staying although the markaz was hardly 8-10 minute drive from the house i.e. the women were in a very safe home.
What is the ruling regarding this brother’s statement in the light of Quran and Sunnah? Was it a mistake for the Jama‘at to go to the markaz?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah
When you are part of a Jama‘at it is incumbent upon you to follow its rules and regulations. This is due to the reason that these rules and regulations are put in place with underlying maslihat (significances) and to bring discipline. Following such rules is a cornerstone of success. Following such rules becomes of additional importance when travelling in a Jamat with masturat. In case that due to a legitimate reason if a rule is not followed at an occasion, being overly sensitive about is not advisable either.

السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ محترم مفتی صاحب!
پچھلے ہفتے ہم بحرین میں مستورات کی جماعت میں نکلے ہوئے تھے۔ ہم اس گھر کے قریب ہی رہ رہے تھے جہاں مستورات قیام پزیر تھیں۔ مشورہ میں یہ طے پایا کہ شب جمعہ کے لئے ہم لوگ مرکز جائیں گے جو اس رہائش سے ۴/۵ کلو میٹر دور تھا۔ اسی اثناء میں ایک بھائی نے یہ کہا کہ مستورات کی جماعت میں یہ اصول ہے کہ مرد گھر سے بہت دور نہ جائیں حالانکہ یہ مرکز محض ۸/۱۰ منٹ کی مسافت پر تھا، اور خواتین ایک محفوظ گھر میں موجود تھیں۔اس بھائی نے جو کہا، قرآن و سنت کی روشنی میں اس کا کیا حکم ہوگا؟ کیا جماعت نے مرکز جا کر غلطی کی؟ والسلام ۔

جب کسی جماعت کے ما تحت آپ چل رہے ہوں تو اس کے اصول ضوابط کی پابندی کا اہتمام کرنا چاہئیے،کیونکہ اصول وضوابط اس کام کے انتظام،استحکام اور بہت سےمصالح پر مبنی ہوتے ہیں،اس لئے ان کی رعایت ضروری ہوتی ہے،بالخصوص جب کہ مستورات ساتھ ہوں تواور بھی اس کا اہتمام کرنا چاہیے،الایہ کہ کسی معقول وجہ سےکبھی اس کی رعایت نہ ہوپائے تو اس پرزیادہ سختی بھی مناسب نہیں ۔
