Assalamualaikum,
What does it mean when you see someone whom you don't know, yet feel like you already know them or "knew" them or that they remind you of someone? A couple of days ago, when I looked at my potential fiancé I felt that he looked very familiar, although I knew that we had never met (at least in the worldly life). Could this be a sign of goodness?
الجواب وباللہ التوفیق
It is not necessary that having feeling of affinity in the first meeting is foretelling goodness. In the situation inquired about make Istikharah and make consultation with your elders, and do not base this important decision on mere feeling of affinity or recognition.

اس کا کیا مطلب ہے جب ہم کسی کو دیکھتے ہیں اور ہم اسے نہیں جانتے ہیں لیکن ایسا لگتا ہے جیسے ہم اسے جانتے ہیں یا جانتے تھے یا اسے دیکھ کر کوئی یاد آتا ہے؟
دو دن ہوئے جب میں نے اپنی ممکنہ منگیتر کو دیکھا مجھے ایسا محسوس ہوا کہ وہ بہت جانا پہچانا لگا حالانکہ مجھے پتہ تھا کہ ہم پہلے کبھی نہیں ملے تھے (کم از کم دنیاوی زندگی میں ) کیا یہ خوش بختی کا اشارہ ہے؟

ضروری نہیں ہے کہ پہلی ملاقات میں اپنائیت کا احساس خوش آئند ہو،صورت مسؤلہ میں استخارہ کریں، اوراپنے بڑوں سے مشورہ کریں،محض اپنائیت یا جان پہچان کےاحساس پر اہم فیصلہ کامدار نہ رکھیں۔
