Divorce via Email/Text Without Intention

Assalamualaikum,

Please help me and answer my question. If I give talaq to my wife via email or text msg without any intention, does it count as a talaq? Please kindly help me with that as soon as possible may Allah bless you.

الجواب وبالله التوفيق      

The Divorce takes effect even without intention if one gives divorce with the words meant for Divorce.

The Divorce also takes effect through email or text.

 

ثم المرسومۃ لا تخلو إما أن أرسل الطلاق بأن کتب أما بعد فأنت طالق فکما کتب ھذا یقع الطلاق و تلزمھا العدۃ من وقت الکتابۃ
