Respected Mufti saheb.

Assalamu alaikum.
I have a question regarding my life.
I was with my husband  17 yrs. He always fights and says thalaq .he has use the word for several times.this time when we went to india he got  angry and took out saying that he taking me to mosque for thalaq and made me stand for hours on the road and brought home back .so my elder brother  in law got angry and told let's finish everything u always  threats  her thalaq do it now call few people from your side then he ask me in front of  everyone  did you sleep with this fellow ? Y he is supporting  you in front  of all my family  members  and even kids were presence .always calling wife (prostitute )using vulgar words this is going on for17 years. He has use the word thalaq several times. Wants to know whether this relationship  persists  after using thalaq several times.?or Islam force to stay with this kind of person.who use vulgar words for wife and daughter.

As per the situation described in your question, your husband has issued Talaq many times to you therefore you have become mughallidha for him and the two of you cannot live together as wife and husband. It is impermissible for you to live together without performing Shar‘ai Halalah. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta‘alasays in the Holy Quran:

فَاِنۡ طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهٗ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدُ حَتّٰى تَنۡكِحَ زَوۡجًا غَيۡرَهٗ ‌ؕ (البقرۃ 230

Translation: Thereafter, if he divorces her, she shall no longer remain lawful for him.
