Asalamualaikum.
Is it true that ALL the Ahadith which, encourage to indulge in a particular virtue whether it’s dhikar, salah, fasting, sadaqah, visiting the sick, giving salaam or any other, and all your sins will be forgiven it only refers to minor, and not major?
It’s been said only sincere tawbah with the three, or four conditions will major sins be forgiven by the will of Allah of course.
So, if someone endlessly engages in such fadhaul as the Ahadith pertain to, but doesn’t bother do exclusive tawbah for his list of major sins then Allah forgives otherwise in principal that person will die a faasiq?
No references required. Simple, and short factual answers will suffice.
There is no rish to answer this question. Kindly prioritise more important ones, and I shall remain patient.
Jazak’Allah.

“From this ayat it can be understood that the mention in ahadith regarding wudhu, salah and other aamal-e-saleh being the kaffarah(expiation/reparation), is pertaining to the gunah-e-sageerah(relatively smaller sin) only and that the gunah-e-kabeerah do not get forgiven without performing tawba(true repentance). That too is coupled with the condition that the person engaging in gunah-e-sageerah made every possible effort to refrain from (and leave) gunah-e-kabeerah. It can further be understood that if a person who is indulged in gunah-e-kabeerah keeps on just performing wudhu, salah and other aamal-e-saleh, such actions will not become a kaffarah for his gunah-e-sageerah let alone the gunah-e-kabeerah.”
